Call for Participation

The registration for the participation in the second Internation Conference on Ethiopian Church Studies is open. Anyone interested can register and attend the conference. There is no registration fee for this conference. Please follow this link and register.
Note: We have only limited space, and the registration will be closed once it is full. First-come will be first-served!

Schedule:- Saturday, October 20 (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) and Sunday, October 21 (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM).

This is the second international conference organized by Mahbere Kidusan U.S.A. and Europe Centers under the theme “Ge‘ez Literature and Manuscript Traditions in Ethiopia”.  The conference will be held on October 20-21, 2018 at Lions Of Judah Event Center (address: 6202 Memorial Drive Stone Mountain, GA 30083) located in Atlanta Metro Area

Abstract Submission

The conference organizers kindly invite scholars to submit an abstract of not more than 450 words for full paper presentation. Paper presenters will be selected on the basis of the merits of the work of the submitted abstracts. Submissions should be accompanied by the presenter’s name and affiliation, a short (one page) CV and contact details. Authors accepted to present papers for the conference are also encouraged to submit their paper to the Journal of Ethiopian Church Studies. Abstracts and accompanied documents shall be submitted through the email address eu.service.reseach@eotcmk.org.

Language

The conference will be both in English and Amharic languages. Hence, authors are free to submit articles in either language.
